THE PRODUCT : REAR BRAKE CALIPER SEAL KIT
Required when rebuilding brake calipers, this kit contains all seals repair a single caliper.
Over time and if the caliper seals have failed, the brake caliper piston can corrode.
This causes the caliper piston to stick, causing innefective braking and overheating of the brake caliper.
common signs of a sticking brake caliper are
– Drag/loss of acceleration
– Car pulling to one side under braking
– Excessive heat and burning smell from the brake caliper.
– Excessive wear of brake pads and discs.
Left unchecked, this can cause excessive wear of the brake pads and brake discs, and brake failure in an extreme case.
Recommended to check and replace the brake pistons as well if necessary
