PCV(Positive Crankcase Ventilation) Valves control the build up of pressure within the engine crankcase and vent excess pressure typically to the intake manifold.
Blocked PCV Valves typically cause excessive smoke from the exhaust and uneven idling.
In addition excess crankcase pressure can cause early failure of piston rings and oil seals.
The Honda S2000 PCV Valve is a cheap and quick maintenance item that is often overlooked.
PCV Valves can become clogged over time due to oil vapours that run through the PCV Valve.
