THE PRODUCT : AUX BELT IDLER PULLEY
The Aux Belt Idler is responsible for maintaining tension on the aux belt.
The aux belt drives the water pump, alternator and air conditioning compressor.
The pulley contains a bearing in the centre which normally wears over time.
Once worn, it will typically create a grinding noise.
The pulley/bearing should be changed urgently if noisy, as delay can cause the pulley to fail.
