DAIDO is the OEM manufacturer to Honda for the K20C1 timing chains.
THE PRODUCT : TIMING CHAIN
The timing chain is responsible for connecting the crankshaft to the camshafts and ensure that rotation between the crankshaft and camshaft is in sync.
Worn or stretched timing chains can cause the chain to skip or jump teeth on the camshaft or crankshaft gears.
Any failure in the timing chain system can cause severe engine damage.

It is advisable to change the timing chain tensioner at the same time.
It is also advisable to check the timing chain guides and replace if necessary.
