My Integra’s alternator failed on its first drive out this year. I took it to a local auto electrical firm for repair but they couldn’t get the rectifier part it needed and so sourced an aftermarket equivalent to try. While it did work, the battery light stayed on even after a brief drive in the car. I found this rebuilt one on Jap Service Parts and and once fitted, the light went out on starting the car. If you have an EP3 or DC5 in need of an alternator, stick with the Denso model.
