Only available in the Japanese Domestic Market, these plugs are an awesome upgrade to the factory plugs.

Compared to the more well known Iridium IX Spark Plugs, the Iridium Max Spark plug use an Iridium tip combined with platinum ground electrode.

This spark plug utilises precious metals for both electrodes, with an iridium alloy centre electrode and a platinum alloy outer electrode. In addition to the improved ignition performance and fuel efficiency of the Iridium IX plug, it also offers enhanced durability.

Iridium spark plugs offer superior ignition compared to standard plugs, resulting in excellent fuel efficiency and improved fuel economy!

A thermo-edge that generates minute electrical discharges is designed at the tip of the insulator. During prolonged low-speed driving, the carbon that has accumulated on the insulator is burned off by these minute discharges, maintaining consistently high ignition performance of the spark plug.

The ultra-fine iridium alloy centre electrode improves the electric field strength, generating a stronger spark at lower voltages.

Because the spark is concentrated at the tip of the central electrode, stable combustion is always achieved, leading to improved fuel efficiency.
