THE PRODUCT :
FRONT RIGHT BRAKE CALIPER (COMPLETE UNIT) (If Fitting to FN2 Civic Type R)
FRONT LEFT BRAKE CALIPER (COMPLETE UNIT) (If Fitting to EP3 Civic Type R)
These are the FN2 brake calipers with the Type R Casting. They are a direct swap on to EP3 Models, although the fitting position is reversed due to different caliper location between the FN2 and EP3.
If fitting to FN2 – This will be the drivers side caliper
If fitting to EP3 – This will be the passenger side caliper
Brake calipers are an important part of the braking system that convert hydraulic force in to pressure applied to the brake pads in order to slow down and stop the vehicle.
Over time, corrosion and debris can penetrate the brake caliper mechanism and cause damage, leading to a sticky brake caliper or loss of braking efficiency.
