MANUFACTURER : NGK (NTK)
NTK is a sister company to NGK Spark plugs.
Under the brand NTK Vehicle Electronics the company offers oxygen sensors (including NOx sensors), exhaust gas temperature sensors (EGTS), mass air flow (MAF) and manifold absolute/boost pressure (MAP) sensors as well as engine speed and position sensors.
THE PRODUCT : REAR (SECONDARY) O2 SENSOR (LAMBDA SENSOR)
The primary secondary or rear oxygen/lambda sensor is used to measure catalytic converter efficiency.
The senor signals the ECU to fine tune Air Fuel Ratios fuelling depending on measurement.
Faulty lambda sensors may cause a check engine light, as well as poor fuel economy and loss of engine performance.
