THE PRODUCT : CYLINDER HEAD GASKET
This is the correct Head Gasket to use for K24 Swaps (K24 Bottom End and K20A2 Head).
Bore Size is 87.00mm
The Stock K24 Head gasket has different water channels closed on the gasket, therefore will not be ideal for the K20A2 Head.
This Gasket has the correct open/closed water channels for the K20A2 Head.
The cylinder head gasket is responsible for sealing the combustion chamber between the cylinder block and cylinder head.
It’s job is to keep combustion gasses and coolant seperate. nHead gasket replacement is a labour intensive job.
JAP OEM gaskets are high quality items and we have tested these to power outputs far exceeding factory specification !
Worn or leaking Head Gaskets may cause the following issues
– Loss of coolant
– Higher engine running temperature or overheating
– Bubbles forming in the radiator/radiator leaking from overflow
