Daido Chains feature a unique SV plate design and pin surface treatment for enhanced performance and durability.
Daido Kogyo are also the OEM manufacturer for TODA Chains.
Recognisable by their Gold coloured chain links and DID stamp on the chain.
In our opinion, this is the best timing chain available for the K20 Engines !
THE PRODUCT : TIMING CHAIN
The timing chain connects the camshafts and the crankshaft and ensures that they are rotating in sync.
These chains can stretch over time.
Timing chain stretch will cause a check engine light to come on, and may also result in loss of VTEC and lumpy engine idling and running.
Commonly chain problems will present a fault code of P0341.
So if you have this fault code, it is most likely that you need a timing chain replacement.
Replacement is recommended when carrying out an engine rebuild.
