Denso’s 0.4mm electrode provides for efficient ignition using long lasting Iridium construction.

A larger center electrode means a greater cooling effect and poorer ignitability. 

On the other hand, the 0.4mm diameter iridium center electrodes have an extremely small cooling effect, reducing non-firing and realizing assured ignitability, the basic function of a spark plug.

Choose IK22 for the engines below if modified and the output has been increased by more than 75-100Bhp (i.e Turbo)
